A game of LIFE... 
In chess the pawn always makes the first move, and if you can get your pawn to the opponents side of the board you can promote your pawn to a bishop, knight, rook, or Queen. (The most powerful piece on the board, for the Queen is meant to protect the King.) 
 
The kid holding the pawn represents a leader, warrior, and deep thinker. The one who makes the first move without fear. The boy who is willing to stand up and serve those around him. He is intentional and THINKS before he acts, considering generations ahead of him. Always, looking to his Father for direction. He is a good son...protecting his Father, the one and only King.
